1.   When to grow broccoli?

5.   Apply additional fertilizer periods for the broccoli

  • Period 1: After planting for about 15 days, use night soil mixed with 1/10 nitrate fertilizer for 20kg of urea for irrigation.
  • Period 2: After 10 – 12 days, do period 1 again.
  • Period 3: When the broccoli is ready to flower, it is necessary to apply nitrate fertilizer with water to the roots to help the plants grow big and healthy. Be careful not to irrigate on the leaves and flowers.

6.   Harvest of broccoli

After having flowers for about 15-20 days, the broccoli can be harvested, meaning that it takes around 70-80 days to grow and harvest broccoli. You should harvest at the right time to ensure the quality and productivity of broccoli.

When harvesting, use a sharp knife to cut the head, if you retain many leaves on the broccoli stump, it can still develop after being harvested.
